Here we go.

Luke...................safe!

Chrislyn................safe too!

Wes.......................safe too!

Teale..................You're in the bottom 3

Sophie...............You are too

Roshani........Mark.......... Mark you are in the bottom 3
Roshani is safe

Bottom 3: Mark, Teale, Sophie

Dicko: Mark is a shock, he was one of the standouts last night

Marcia: I agree

Kyle: I agree too

Chrislyn wins the performance of the night award again this week.

Carl Riseley makes an appearance talking about his album and writing songs for the navy. Poor Matt and Natalie, nowhere to be seen despite being the final two last year.

Gabriella Chilmi is performing, I dunno what song she's singing, not the Sweet About Me one.

I just like to point out something. I don't know what has happened to Aussie idol for the last 2 years. During the first 4 seasons, i can remember the audience (at least some of the audience) would get off their seats and dance to performances. This season, and last season, they just sat there, not even moving their shoulders or anything. What makes the audience so uptight all of a sudden.

Anyways, here's the verdict. Safe first is........................Teale

Bottom 2: Sophie and Mark

Kyle: both are great, but I'm betting Mark to stay

Sophie: both great, but will be a shame if Mark is going

Dicko: Unfortunately, I think Mark is going.

Leaving tonight is...............................Sophie

She reprises Don't Hold Back.

Next week is Rolling Stones night.

On Sunday, I had to work somewhere far from where I live, so I didn't have the chance to recap the show. But I did watch the performances on the official website, so here's my ranking and a very brief recap.

My ranking:
1. Roshani Priddis - singing Diana Ross - Reflections. This was supposed to be her night, but unfortunately not. But I need to point out her strength. When she gets pitchy, she doesn't look nervous or unconvinced. She doesn't lose an ounce of confidence.

2. Sophie Patterson - singing Papa Was A Rolling Stone. This was definitely her best vocal performance, nothing shaky, less moans. But she's still a statue on the stage.

3. Wes Carr - singing If I Were A Carpenter. He's been plateauing, been giving the similar kind of performances week after week, until tonight. Although, it wasn't a huge difference yet.

4. Chrislyn Hamilton - singing Get Ready by the Temptations. She got a TOUCHDOWN, undeservedly. It could have been more exciting, especially from someone like her. The stage presence was actually too tame.

5. Teale Jakubenko - singing Ain't No Mountain High Enough. Definitely an overdone song, which is good in getting people recognise the song straight away and vote for you, which means no wow factor.

6. Mark Spano - singing You Keep Me Hanging On by Diana Ross. I don't think he and the theme fit well together. I ended up laughing at his performance instead, him doing a motown dance. It wasn't a disaster, but definitely not we would love to see over and over in his concert.

7. Luke Dickens - singing My Girl. 6 or 7 weeks past, I still don't get how people really think he's incredibly talented. He's not even unique, but people say so just because he's the only country / aussie rock singer in the competition. The motown performance was boring too.

Unfortunately, I think Roshani is going.

For anyone who missed Thanh Bui's elimination last week::

Last week, while the elimination wasn't shocking, the bottom 3 overall was an unpleasant surprise. For the first time the whole audience didn't clap when the hosts announced that the 6 people who were safe would be practicing another song. Here's to relive that moment:

Tim Farriss and Kirk Pengilly of INXS have been mentoring the idols this week for tonight's rock theme. Kirk is joining the judging panel.

It’s time for the verdict. Will Mark’s constant backtalking to Dicko put him on the firing line? Will performing first make Chrislyn ‘forgettable’ enough to end up in the bottom 3? Will Madam be forgiven for losing her steam 3 weeks in a row?

Before the show starts, we pay tribute to Levi Kereama, the 6th placer of season 1 of Australian Idol. He allegedly committed suicide, jumping out of a hotel in Brisbane only hours after he performed in Parklife

Tom is finally out of the picture! He's a good kid, but he's not as ready as Chrislyn and Brooke yet. That being said, there still are people who I think undeserving to be in the top 12. It's ABBA's night by the way!

Does anyone notice how all three teenage competitors in the top 12 this year have family issues? Brooke's dad abused her mom then killed himself, Tom's parents are separated, and Chrislyn's parents divorced.

Anyways, I'm hoping one of Luke, Tom, and Thanh to head home tonight. Luke is too stereotypical Aussie, Tom is too immature, and Thanh is too boyband-ish. However, like last week, we might be expecting something else, like Roshani

Last week, Brooke was sent packing prematurely. I was sad but ended up laughing. Remember how the producers overhyped the new voting system and how it will prevent shocking eliminations? It actually made it worse. At least in previous seasons, they occurred around top 7. Tom is the weakest of the bunch, and he's going to get saved by the tone deaf even if he brutally falls into the the bottom 3 week after week.

As previously said, last night was pretty sensational in general. I have no idea what tonight’s bottom 3 will consist of. An ideal scenario will be either Tom or Luke going home, but it may be Thanh’s turn or quite unfortunately Sophie.

Last week, we said our Sayonara to Jonny. I was okay with him until he said how he doesn’t sing covers and the remaining 11 are more comfortable doing it. In other words, he single-handedly robbed a wildcard contestant who actually wouldn’t mind doing covers. Good riddance.
